Just for some awareness on rules - nsfw furry or anime/ecchi content goes here in /nsfw/. For logical separation purposes, the equivalent to the 4ch trash /sdg/ general should be it's own thread under the /nsfw/ board. Happy posting. Just remember, no realistic looking photographs.

Will cascade be able to do something like pic related (holding a sword while doing some sort of stance) with pure prompt? I tried my hardest to do something like this with pony but I just couldn't (prompt only, no controlnet or extreme inpaint)

my guess is that 1b maybe, but will require some inpaint
3.6b likely yeap, with no problem at all

Fun tip Cascade/Reso both support UnCLIP embeddings from within ComfyUI, so you can supply an image to teach it what the image should look like compiositionally. Can be a bit fiddly to get working.

Cool, what about guns, musical instruments or vehicles on the background? in fact, what kind of backgrounds could we expect from the 3.6b model?, sorry if the images aren't even /e/ but I want to use them as reference
Replies: >>29
>>28
>guns
mmmmm i think that one will be a hard one cuz of dataset, the poorly captioned dataset that is coming from gelbooru for this finetune won't help at all for things like these buuuut it also depends if the model already knows guns or not, if yes then maaaybe it could be fine
>musical instruments
already recognized by the base cascade so it could be fine
>vehicles
also recognized but don't expect it to be able to understand a specific type, brand or series of vehicles due to gelbooru shenaningans again
>backgrounds
current 1b it's trying it's best to do backgrounds but judging from the prototypes baked weeks ago, the 1b will do simple backgrounds with a chance of it coming kinda uncanny and the 3.6b will be able to do very good backgrounds and interesting compositions most of the time

There's no need to be in fear of me striking out for insults towards Reso. It's all feedback on the model in one form or another, which is more valuable than gold. I'm currently experimenting with refining/hi-res fixing outputs to look cleaner. Seems to work. Inpainting will be a lot more difficult on the other hand.
>>20
Do note that loli, shota etc can be posted. Please do keep those strictly to the /cdg/ thread just for easier clean up. (More so for thread house rules to keep things semi-close to the original 4chan board rules)
I'm not going to move/remove it - just letting you know that there's a dedicated almost no holds barred thread for less vanilla topics.

hello j
>There's no need to be in fear of me striking out for insults towards Reso.
nah i'm being completely honest with you. if i think that the model is pure garbage i will, but not the case, i mean it hasn't even finished baking, and 1b has shown us that it's cleaning itself slowly. now imagine a finished 3.6b. to judge an unfinished model is the most retarded thing ever
it's just that this first revision of reso will be greatly limited due to shitty gelbooru's tag retardation. it will get as better as naiv3 if we're talking about prompt comprehension. which will make the model very stiff about boorus tags, so basically e6 tags will do a huge lifting here.
if you manage to get rid of those tags for the next revision of reso and do the right thing, it can easily become the best local model available for anime and basically anything non-realism related

I see, I see, what I mostly expect it to do is to provide a good base gen on average (just like NAI does) so I can just inpaint the little details

>vehicles
>also recognized but don't expect it to be able to understand a specific type, brand or series of vehicles due to gelbooru shenaningans again
Sure, I don't expect to gen anything specific but something that more or less looks like it, you know, something that more or less looks like a truck, a tank, or a boat, will it be possible?

I'm a promplet and didn't put much effort in so sorry for low quality image, but it kind of understands right now? takes a little gatcha to get sword+fighting stance together, but using an artist or character that knows those better would probably help. I might've gotten better results prompting katana or something instead of sword, I don't know

More of a procedural thing - I have no interest in censoring users of their personal opinions. I like the old imageboard culture and I intend to keep it that way.
>>32
Yep, most of the model's design was to essentially work like older 1.5 models where the focus was on the artistic creation part rather than gambling slop part. Yeah you can gen forever and goon, but where's the reward in that?

And furthermore - a simple hi-res fix at 32x compression easily covers up most of the issues. Ignore the cock lamp, I'm not going back for that.

>something that more or less looks like a truck, a tank, or a boat, will it be possible?
yeah pretty much, just to tell you, this finetune is not using a brazillion times the base LR of the model so it's not being incredibly deep fried (ahem)

Well it's your board, and your rules, but I have to say it seems foolish to divide a thread like this into multiple, separate threads. Especially when post volume is so low. Also, one of the major complaints about the /h/ thread was overpolicing of otherwise harmless loli/straight shota content.
Replies: >>39
>>38
I won't particularily care if cunny, ss or yaoi gets posted here. But if users begin requesting separation, or at least self organised house rules, Not really a set of formal rules, more of guidelines to avoid posting something in the wrong thread.
>>37
yes, but gelbooru images are very often tagged with so little effort, that is kinda hard to find a pic that has more than 10 tags (which 25% of those tags in the pic are false positives) so this ends up poisoning the well

Well, yeah, that's indeed a girl holding a sword while doing a fighting stance. There's some tags specific for that kind of poses like "ready to draw" and "battoujutsu stance", hopefully the full model can recognize and do them

I think it's the feedback. I need criticism to improve, but on R34 you only get some cringe roleplay comments. On Civit and Pixiv you get emojis, and the culture is too hugbox-y. No one there shits on images, even ones that deserve it.
>>169
I don't care that much about views and nosebleed elephants on pixiv or twitter, don't care about views.

I wonder what changed. Feels like we talk less about posted gens, not just post fewer of them.
Replies: >>183

I post occasionally to pixiv and sparsely to twitter.
but posting to an imageboard is a low pressure way to reflect on and find mistakes/errors that weren't as obvious prior(since it's now "no longer in your hands" compared to staring at it for half an hour in-process). Also doesn't require censoring like pixiv does.
And like the other anon said, it's just significantly higher quality interaction if you get it. You can also generally pose a question/whatever alongside it should you need to and get a response more often than not.
>>179
>Is this not more interactive than just dropping an image on Pixiv and moving on?
It can be. On here (and other imageboards), it's very easy to to just drop images and leave. Since uploads aren't tied to an identity, I don't have to manage any sort of persona, nor worry about mistakes in images, or engagement.
Weird that treech also prunes metadata, keeping them in would be really convenient for an AI board. Or at least making the catbox extension work.
Replies: >>185
>>184

text bubbles are from dall-e 3 and flux, they're pretty decent at it
I prompted speech/thought ones together with the images but I've also prompted all kinds of bubbles like that on their own with or without text just fine in the past. yeah it's an extremely lazy way to do it but it's fun
I then edited and upscaled the images with pony, at higher resolutions it wont mangle the text, but i guess that depends on how you do it. If I upscale image 2x and the text/bubble gets fucked up I just manually resize original image and overlay it on top of the upscaled one, blend in the non fucked up parts I want from the original and then inpaint over that with higher resolution
>the second image makes me think it's AI
if you meant the double chibi image, those are just raw ass flux gens. rest of the images have bunch of usual ai fuckery anyway

the lewd bits are inpainted with pony but Flux can do lewd to some degree, it'll give you butts, breasts and nudity but it can't draw pussies and mangles the nipples, doesn't know sex or what a phallic object is
>How's the times on Flux anyhow? Any chance an 8gig VRAMlet could run the model locally?
I'm using huggingspace so I wouldn't know about the times, but I think people with 8gb can run it
https://huggingface.co/spaces/black-forest-labs/FLUX.1-schnell
feel free to use that to give it a spin, it usually won't give you any more than what you prompt so gotta be descriptive

schnell only takes 4 steps, it's fast but image quality is much lower among other downsides that I might not even fully be aware of and I think you should be able to run it for sure but apparently you can run dev with 8gb in nf4
https://github.com/lllyasviel/stable-diffusion-webui-forge/discussions/981
dev is the better and slower one

I think most people run it on comfy but idk anything about that, all the optimizations and stuff seem to be a work in progress on Forge, so I'm just waiting to see how it goes. You'll might get more help and information asking other more knowledgeable people
Flux is fun to screw around with or create some inpainting material but the hentai side isn't quite there (yet?) but I've seen plenty of nice anime loras posted on 4chan for sfw

it is cascade. if e15 ends up being proficient at hands and such, it may actually be pretty decent.

my opinion is the prototype 3.6b and current 1b both have the same sorts of placement artifacts, which may be under-training, or in the worst case, an architectural issue. if the issue is in the architecture, it's gonna need a cluster of 100 H100s to remedy.

1b may or may not have learned everything it could have if caption shuffling is the key ingredient to getting characters and clothing.

A design goal of my models is that one should always personalise it with LoRAs or further finetuning even if it's really close. I'm much happier cooking models that handle the 99% of a booru and leaving the 1% for personal taste.

Personal taste matters.

No worries, I'm still here. Everything besides Kuro (Kuro is reweik v11) is trifusion. For me it's the Fern model, kek, she's just too cute there.
https://huggingface.co/realding/trifusion_v10Enhanced/tree/main
Not sure if you'll bother using it, it's kinda weird, but here are some tips in case you are brave:
1. Use Automatic CFG with turbo turned on (implemented in reforge and exists as a custom node for comfy), it's practically a must for this model
2. Most of my gens (from those you linked all except t10, t13, t31) are i2i from black rectangle to get darker images
3. Example base resolution gen: https://files.catbox.moe/s4645j.png
The model knows Fern, for Ubel I used this lora (it takes animagine loras): https://civitai.com/models/282420?modelVersionId=317904

cool model
i figured out comfy more or less but not a fan. i think the automatic CFG thing is kinda different on it too, i was mostly curious about the texture but i'm guessing it's mostly from that extension/node, idk
ended up going back to good ol forge lol. i see what you mean by automatic CFG being a must since the model seems to be kinda fried but it was fun to screw around around with it regardless
i like the way it hallucinates, reminds me of 1.5 in both good and bad ways although i haven't used animagine that much so maybe that's where most of it was coming from
Replies: >>332
>>331
Nice. Love the Ubel one, although she might need at least a small hint of the other leg peeking through somewhere to not look one-legged.
If you want to test a less fried model with similar background capabilities, the secret of trifusion-enhanced is mainly in that it's a merge of trifusion with two loras:
https://civitai.com/models/124347/xlmoreart-full-xlreal-enhancer at 0.65 clip and unet strength
https://civitai.com/models/376395/worldly-xl-or-anime-scenery-lora at 0.5 clip and unet strength
So you can merge them or just use at runtime with either ponymagine (I might be schizo but I think it has slightly more stable anatomy than animagine) or animagine which both aren't fried. You will slightly lose some of the base model look that trifusion has.
Probably the xlmoreart-full doing most of the job too, since trifusion doesn't respond strongly to pony loras.

Nope, they should be according to board rules, but annoying at the same time. Pretty much like groidspam: technically doesn't violate the rules but makes everyone mad.

But now that I'm no longer mad, I just don't really feel like doing this. Guys posting at koikatsu general didn't deserve to get spammed like, and nigger jannies won't give a fuck anyway. Pretty much all the other threads are semi-dead, including the nigger generals.

Maybe, maybe not, but I think this post was made by an actual janny as it perfectly explains their attitude towards moderating the AI threads. Could be a LARP of course.
It's weird because it wasn't always like this. Moderation used to be almost reasonable. Spammers were dealt with, and only actual cunny removed, apart from some rare exceptions.

Jannies are that scared of lurkers making hentai that's as good as the real thing if not better. I've seen this behaviour in the furry community - where to elevate their power over others they start controlling who is allowed to create content and generally try to infiltrate creator circles. It's also happening in Furry Diffusion where saturation of good models has already reached a high point and mods are trying to endorse their own censored model that has no benefit.

i shitpost occasionally using aco slops from civit to shit on notorious faggots (but most of it isn't my as i don't really want to disrupt the thread)

it's very clear that they support sabotaging of the thread but delete any mention of it

Spamming regular threads would be petty and useless, now that I think of it.
I think wiping the board entirely with guro or something else, while making it clear WHY is it happening would be a more interesting option. Probably won't help hdg, (don't think anything will now), but would be an actual fuck you to the moderators. Thing is, is anyone actually willing to do it?

at that point it'd just be time to completely abandon it. And realistically that's the end outcome anyway since if you're not in a third world country on a mobile network that hasn't been range-banned yet or that somehow still uses dynamic IP's you're just going to get hit with an indefinite ban, anyway. And if you don't it'd because whatever you were doing is so inconsequential and frivolous it's not going to be a blip to anyone in "charge" anyway. So all you'll accomplish is becoming a schizophrenic autist that wastes their time trying to make things worse for other people for no real perceptible reason.

Also I really, really highly doubt any of this has to do with AI shit in specific. This is almost definitely more of a board administration structuring issue than anything else. I doubt there are many(if any) dedicated /h/ janitors/moderators. It's just not a high traffic board. So pretty much everything will end up in a global mod queue and gets reviewed randomly by faget mod A, faget mod B, faget mod C, etc.
So rather than some cabal-driven agenda against AI art it's more likely that there's just a small group with a stick up their ass for whatever reason, probably annoyed that there's a thread with /vg/ grade activity and schizophrenia on a podunk board like /h/(which isn't exactly the most "friendly" board to review in the first place).
>>359
Miku isn't exactly known for being the most developed girl. She's still ubiquitous enough though that if she doesn't look like an outright toddler it's pretty hard to catch a ban for her though.

higher traffic/schizophrenic thread=more visibility/reports
a decentralized moderation approach to that means extremely uneven moderation
I'm absolutely not saying it's better, it's still really bad. I'm just saying that it's not the best idea to attribute to (pointed) malice what can be attributed instead to stupidity/ignorance/malicious compliance/apathy.
even in my case where it certainly *feels* like someone has a raging hateboner for me, specifically, could very easily be a case of getting caught in weird mass reports and there being an actual log of bans, someone reviewing it going "hrm this IP address has had a lot of bans on it in the past for lolicon, so this report must be true" and just handwaving the ban without really reviewing because the report was from /h/ and they don't want to actually look at porn but they're still forced to see the report ticket in queue.
(though interactions on /e/ do support that there's a janny that has something personal for me for whatever reason but that's not the point)
>but if someone like birdfag who's apparently got dozens of working proxies would wipe that whole shithole out I really, really wouldn't get sad over that happening

>This is almost definitely more of a board administration structuring issue than anything else. I doubt there are many(if any) dedicated /h/ janitors/moderators.
Why don't they open applications then? There are absolutely zero reasons not to open janitor applications. Maybe they are not doing that cause the board admin or mod or whatever is an unironical anti-ai artfag, but what other explanations are there outside of them simply not giving a slightest fuck? It really sounds like it's some /ic/ trannitor trying to powertrip there. What's the length of your ban, anyway? I think I've never seen anyone getting an extended vacation beyond 3 days.
>And realistically
You should be buying proxies in bulk from a bit shadier places, then guroposting in a way that won't let them know you're somehow different from a regular poster with a fresh browser.
>dynamic IP
Even if you have one, they still have an option to rangeban you. Sometimes your ISP may issue you a different subnet though. They also can easily track you via cookies and cloudflare.
If we become annoying enough while simultaneously being semi-invincible to the regular moderation tools, it would be plenty enough to be noticed by some higher up admin.

This likely won't be required if we limit ourselves with reposting groids to other threads and maybe /ic/, but that would be quite a bit more risky.

>So all you'll accomplish is becoming a schizophrenic autist that wastes their time trying to make things worse for other people for no real perceptible reason.
That's only the case if no one will actually do anything except you which is unlikely at this point. Anons only need the means.

Remember, anons moving out from /hdg/ is the main goal of the groidspammer. If we don't do anything now, which is not much at all, /hdg/ will without a doubt meet it's imminent demise for such a fucking stupid reason. We'll never know the outcome until we try either and giving up from the get go is such a fucking stupid move. So far the only thing we apparently tried is the moderation feedback form and regular reports, but there are also admin emails.

bold of you to assume moderation feedback goes anywhere other than directly into the trash.
Also I doubt the moderation staff are a monolith. It's possible this is all caused by a single complicit mod and a janny cohort(by reviewing and dismissing valid reports). It's also possible they're permanently understaffed and can't gather enough fucks to care(and aren't actually really fully "aware" of what's going on). And who can blame them, they're doing it for free, after all.

The easiest way to try and get anything done about it would be to go directly to IRC to try and bitch to someone personally.
I refuse to do it but it seems like that would be the easiest and most direct way of making sure someone has even a vague idea of what's going on. After that it can be guessed at/decided how much of this is malice or not.

what other explanation is there for your posts getting deleted off /e/ for being too western and that asuka ban on top of everything that's happening in /h/?
you seem to be consistent in your writing style, and your images are easily recognizable. this is just a passive observation from someone who doesn't care about imageboard personalities or drama. if i notice this, then others likely do too, and you must have pissed someone off since you often come across as a raging sperg, though that doesn’t justify any of this
there's a possibility that someone is taking advantage of the fact that you're one of the more active regulars, making you easy to identify, and is mass reporting every single one of your images across multiple threads. however, i don't remember this happening to others in the same way, so this doesn't seem plausible

a mod/janny having some weird personal obsession over me is one thing but I'd consider the thread state as another. They might be temporally related but more in the "a single mod is fucking around and intentionally clearing reports to prevent anything being done" kind of way than some cabal conspiracy of making the thread shit to make it shit as a site-wide policy.
And I feel like whoever it is that's obsessed with me is some weird discord group that tries to use the thread as their personal shitting grounds/lolcow farm and they probably have a janny who commiserates or something. I think a lot of this started happening after I made a tinfoil post mentioning an observation that there absolutely seemed to be some weird organized group that would intentionally give incorrect/bad advice to absolutely everything that they could. Everything from trying to hand out really shitty settings for just about everything to just outright shitpost tier misinformation like the retarded refiner shit. And I guess pointing that out painted a target on me, or something.
Also now archiveofsins stuff is getting taken down for whatever reason, which further screams third party schizophrenia since it probably involved emailing fake copyright notices.

>shitpost tier misinformation
i remember thinly veiled attempts at trolling that came across as, 'this person has clearly never touched any kind of ai technology in their life,' yet they seemingly did their best to sound genuine and passionate. all of this could just be shitposters copying each other's behavior, who knows
>painted a target on me
i can think of another thing that painted a target on you. you've complained about bullshit bans quite often, so it could be that this gave someone the idea to fuck with you by occasionally reporting most of your posts. if the ban log you mentioned is real, that would add up. again, not blaming you. it just makes sense since your posts are easily recognizable
>third party schizophrenia since it probably involved emailing fake copyright notices.
/h/ threads were inexplicably nuked in the past, in the same manner i remember an /e/ general got nuked and the OP said it was some sort of bullshit copyright claim, seems like no one ever checks the validity of those things

i've remembered an instance of janny deleting blacked spam, can you believe that?
https://archived.moe/h/thread/7814145/#8055808
for some reason half of the blacked posts were untouched but half of them were deleted, alongside the racist posts, naturally. guess the report for off topic works if there's enough people reporting? i don't know how that would apply to hdg since technically they're not offtopic, but jannies don't seem to care either way so someone's unlimited ip works might be better utilized for mass reporting the spammer rather than decimating the entire board with gore. either way this tells me that moderation might be more incompetent than malicious, but unless someone talks to them we'll never know

anyway current spammer might be the same person that spammed /edg/ since they both have the pass

>would they really contain themselves to a single general?
Who said they did? It existed before it but it kicked into overdrive after naiv3 released and AIDS leaked over.
The sort of threadshitting we see on hdg isn't really uncommon in /vg/ for the slower generals. There's a very real chance the activity cranked up just because they got backlinked over and saw the opportunity when console war bullshit was kicking in.
>you've complained about bullshit bans quite often
I've only complained about bullshit bans more "recently" but I started catching weird bans for a while. Actually looking through screencaps it seemed to have started in... December. You know, a month after naiv3 hit.
https://files.catbox.moe/0wh8ys.png
and then followed through in january
https://files.catbox.moe/3s71vs.png
one of the really weird ones was involving this conversation with someone who was obviously a janny trying to rile shit on /e/ https://files.catbox.moe/ey21t4.png
(note which side of the conversation got a free pass to being "off-topic")
and if I really want to put on a tinfoil hat, it feels like my situation very specifically involves a janny doing a lot of weird shit. I say janny because I feel like they're having to poke a mod to carry through on some of these actions and don't want to go overboard and do it too often to cause suspicion.
two other random bans
https://files.catbox.moe/hlees6.png
https://files.catbox.moe/m8xr9r.png
Also I don't think I'm entirely "unique" in getting singled out by whatever this group? random ass schizo? or whatever. If you notice there's been a lot of shitposting targeting the one guy that posts hyper vanilla with tianlingdingdongwinwang in their mix just because they're fairly recognizable. There was also the shitposting against the luckystarfag, who, really, didn't do himself any favors with their posting style - but still didn't really *do* anything to warrant it. I've just ended up getting hit fairly hard because I prefer girls to be fun-sized and that's easier to write off as "look it's underaged!"

>seems like no one ever checks the validity of those things
Generally speaking they mostly don't. I'm guessing the aos thread was hit because it had miku as the OP and that's an easy enough IP to write a false takedown for.
>i've remembered an instance of janny deleting blacked spam, can you believe that?
iirc there were maybe 3? or so threads that actually had shit pruned from it. The thing is, I don't think it happened until someone went to IRC to bitch about it.
because while this shit is obvious to anyone with a functioning pair of eyes it's also really easy to write off out of context piecemeal as "why the fuck are you reporting this it doesn't break any rules."
>either way this tells me that moderation might be more incompetent than malicious
I think it's a mix of incompetence/apathy and a bad actor or two working to keep it that way.
Realistically if moderation, as a whole, really wanted AI art gone they'd just ban it site-wide or banish it purely to trash. They'd implement a new report category and be done with it and they wouldn't have to care. And there wouldn't really be much anyone could do about it, since a large part of hdg's posting doesn't actually have a real "home" without the thread, anyway, since a lot of it is nondescript animu girl with erratic and inconsistent subject matter. And the vast majority of it sticks out like a sore fucking thumb.

I always felt like that general started going downhill poster-quality wise somewhere around NAI release. Not because I hate NAI, but because it seemingly attracted shitposter mouth breathers from /vg/ that brought a lot of flamewar and bait patterns along with them.
>who, really, didn't do himself any favors with their posting style

>I feel like it's some schizofaggot who enters some sort of love-hate relationship with recognizable posters and interacts with them that way. I doubt it's discordfag group messing with recognizable anons
Being a single person doesn't really make sense. While I haven't been involved in them personally I know someone who's followed a lot of lolcow farm type groups in the past and this sort of shit really matches their behaviors.
And that *certain* things seem to get hit with mass reports and you'll occasionally have clusters of 2-4 posts saying, effectively, the same thing but "different" implies it's someone actively backlinking it in a group.
I mean, it could be a single deranged autist that really streamlined their workflow on doing this shit but it feels like it makes more sense to be an organized group. And if you're familiar with chink "anti" groups this is also the type of behavior they engage in extremely heavily.

as an aside, man, it really doesn't feel that bad to be on a forced vacation from /h/ right now, anyway. Shitpost BLACKED thread is still up, there's a second LDG shitpost thread and there's one "real" thread that's being ignored.
It's a fucking shitshow.

unrelated but maybe trying to build out a synthetic dataset to flesh out this style might be a bit of a mistake. I mean, it's really easy to mask stuff that's redrawn into it since it's a really flat digital sketch style but it's also giving me a lot of the standard AI schizophrenic line shit and that's a royal bitch to pay attention to to correct and I feel like it's going to end up just creating a real bad feedback loop in training.

I remember there being some guy on hdg fucking ages ago talking about doing commissions for a character so they could do a lora off of them but don't really remember too much of what happened with them.
and honestly I don't even know what a real "ideal dataset" an artist could try to offer would be. Most the time just them having a fantia/fanbox/whatever is enough to build a proper dataset from and you don't really need *that* many images to do something semi-effective(the digital sketch style I've been doing was trained on only 6(!) images, 4 of which had to be upscaled, even).
tbh if an artist really wanted to get into the dataset game they'd be better off trying to sell access to the lora's themselves. At least then they can claim some sort of moral ground of "don't train on my shit just pay me for my work, instead."

Mostly that it's just weird autism and a waste of time for everyone involved.

honestly I'd just post in the regular channel and say that someone is spamming/shitting up a thread on /h/ by reposing low quality BLACKED porn, intentionally trying to rile the thread and have been at it for three days now. And if any individual mod responds mention that there's also been really weird/bizarre moderation behaviors and that if their are tools available to do so and they've got any free time and the will to do so they should review moderation actions taken on /h/.
maybe also offer to expound a schizophrenic account from your own point of view if they're further interested.
Though I wouldn't really expect all that much.

some amount of /aco/ does actually end up getting removed. Not a whole lot, but some does.
Either way the big issue with /aco/ isn't even necessarily that it's /aco/ on /h/. I mean, yeah that's an issue and it's off-topic, but it's also just unnecessary congregation. There's two aco threads. By posting to /h/ they're just dooming the thread they're better suited to be posting in.
Of course, if there were an NSFW AI board this could all be solved for the most part but that would also open up a whole slew of other issues and probably require a lot more effort for moderation than anyone is actually willing to put into it.

Where's that janny message, care to point me towards it? Or is it nothing more than your assumption based on what does and doesn't get deleted? Hypothetically, what do you think takes priority when things get reported, off topic/trolling/low quality or loli/shota outside of /b/? This is part of a bigger problem which is retarded rules of /h/, like treating toddlercon and petite girls as one and the same

>>411
I started posting in hdg around february last year after lurking there for a little while, even then I remember people mentioning that posting flatties risks you getting jannied, seeing people talk about it is the reason I've avoided posting girls that can be confused for lolis and I've never been banned or warned for any image I posted while other anons did get occasional bans or deletions even with images that weren't straight up loli. This tells me that moderation behavior was relatively the same, what changed is that we acquired a schizo with the ability to mass report posts, which merely brought the janny/mod incompetence to light

Are jannies retarded? Sure, but that's not the only issue, someone is constantly mass reporting posts and they don't seem to care. I wouldn't be surprised if they had some sort of guideline that stated "if the image reported as loli/shota can be confused for one off a thumbnail better stay on the safe side and remove it"

If you actually look around /h/ as a whole there's quite a few petite and loli looking girls and there always have been, the difference is that no one is reporting them, and if someone ever reports an image or two it's rare enough for people to not care

highlightfag is more or less a shitposter in their own right. Left unattended their goal seems to be to encourage low quality garbage while giving "nods" to more frequent posters to provide a form of plausible deniability. And, well, in the case of /h/ which is actively hostile to it it does its own job of partially derailing the thread anyway.
And any bitching about it on /e/ was met very swiftly with 3+ posts calling the person a nogen/"I'm sure you'll make it next time bro"/sour grapes/etc. type bullshit. It was all very territorially policed. Whether it was by them or a secondary shitposting doesn't make much difference when they didn't actually attempt to change their behaviors at all.
>>420
>I wasn't talking about the extreme behavior that did start around that time
I mean, the suggestions for not posting flatties came around specifically because of the relatively new behavior, is what I'm saying. pre-naiv3 you could post washboards to your hearts content and be fine as long as it didn't look like a toddler and there wasn't really any discouragement from doing so.
>or that there is indeed some sort of "ban log" which made the janny/mod nuke your shit without even properly looking at it
Honestly I've got no idea what kind of ban tools they have, it's just something that could "make sense" and provide plausible deniability. Though I do remember what paid level vbulletin admin panels from 20 years ago looked like and they absolutely had full depth suspension logs along with IP tracking along with comments/reasons for moderation action, so I wouldn't really be surprised if such a thing existed for futaba, as well.
>If someone was to spam the same image with shitty small alterations the janny would probably would not have a problem recognizing it as flooding
I wouldn't be so confident in this assumption.
the satellite spam on /e/ more or less corroborates as much.

highlights have been part of /e/ for a good while, and attacking them rather than trying to have a constructive conversation with the highlighter directly is bound to elicit that kind of response, don't you think? my feelings towards highlights were always neutral but I can see why people would be defensive
>the suggestions for not posting flatties came around specifically because of the relatively new behavior, is what I'm saying. pre-naiv3 you could post washboards to your hearts content and be fine as long as it didn't look like a toddler and there wasn't really any discouragement from doing so.
yeah well that's the weird thing, I know that the reason I did not post any is because I saw anons talking about it back in winter-spring last year. Is it possible I hallucinated that and my delusion shaped my style of posting? I was always diligently giving everyone at least a slight boob job, as much as I hated it, since I didn't want to deal with vacations. Perhaps I saw only a few posts of someone talking about getting banned and took them to heart, while you weren't there to see them or you just don't remember. I can't be arsed to look through archives
>the satellite spam on /e/ more or less corroborates as much.
what I meant was spamming the same image except with additional two lines there and there every time you post it in order to avoid the spam filter, you must have seen that happen across the website occasionally, well I did, and those posts were usually dealt with accordingly. kind of like the vidya butts spam, except that was an explicit image on a blue board and a whole other kind of schizo

original OP was more or less fine. He only highlighted 10-15 images a thread and they were generally error free.
Current highlighter went maximum autist and was doing, unironically, 25-40% of a threads images as highlights. He was also given pretty constructive criticism and did nothing with it.
It just became impossible to take them as anything other than a shitposter at that point.
>I did not post any is because I saw anons talking about it back in winter-spring last year
Last year as in 2023 or as in this past year 2024?
I only loosely paid attention in 2023 in like, may/june and then from august on but I don't remember any chatter on flatties being illegal. And I posted a lot of gaki-tier cutting boards through august/october and got nothing from it. There was certainly a lot of chatter of it from feb onward for 2024, but that's because there were a lot of abrupt bans for it through january.

Dropping 1 sorry-ass nigger once a few hours seems just completely futile to me though. I think you either commit to the autism or don't bother.
Replies: >>461

When I report shitposting it gets deleted half the time but often my reports are ignored, and I'm very anal about what I report, I make absolutely sure it fits the criteria of the report category
If your posts in that thread got reported by various people maybe that's what made the janny nuke them all? I still would like to think that jannies are terminally retarded rather than they have some agenda although what difference does that make at this point lol

Well there's something else we can try, if he continues to spam again, reply to all or most of his posts with something along the lines of "why are you chain posting 30 images of the same shit?", "janny this guy is flooding the thread again" etc. but only report no more than two images at a time and make sure the images you report look more or less the same as the other images above or below.

The logic behind this is to make sure you indicate that this is spam if the janny needs to be spoonfed and make sure your posts calling out the spam aren't reportable for racism and that the samey nature of the images is easily identifiable to any retard who can't devote more than 3 seconds of his attention span to the state of the thread
Replies: >>463 >>465
>>459
Although after ilovefathag anon's irc visit they could change their approach. All troll threads archived, spammer might be banned.
Let's observe for now.
also here's another reason why I'm inclined to believe that jannies are just retarded. A few months ago someone made a thread in /h/ - the OP image was an underage looking girl with a logo censor advertising cheeze pizza telegram channel. I reported that under "This post violates United States law."
you know how long it took them to take that down? I made sure to check the time, over 40 fucking minutes. And it wasn't the first time I saw that image/ad pop up around the website either
There was also some guy posting one of those "modeling" images around /g/ occasionally. They somehow stayed up for quite a while more often than not and they weren't an ad either

amazing. suppose you can just drop the janny part and complain about the guy spamming instead, kind of like what the anons did in >>452

>aren't those just glownigger fakes?
lets say glowies contact moderation and say they're running some honeypot operation. they're going let all the jannies know about it too?
>hey guys there's gonna be this uhh cheesy image, don't act on any reports it gets for a good while okay?
but I mean sure, maybe that's how it went. but that doesn't explain the /g/ dude since he came off as some sort of autistic schizo who hated the website or something like that, I don't see the benefit in letting his posts stay. my whole point is that at least to me the moderation seems extremely inconsistent as a whole, just like in that archived thread linked here
>>372
where half the blacked spam got deleted but half of it was allowed to stay. makes no fucking sense
>>460
reporting stuff as trolling outside of /b/ works about half the time, yeah. Well, probably not half, probably more like a quarter of the time, but it does work occasionally. Reporting spam/flooding just doesn't work at all from my experience. It feels like it's intended for people flooding advertising link shit or something.
And "just report one if you don't want banned ;^)" is such a stupid fucking position for administration to try and take. It doesn't make any fucking sense and I can't imagine would even be all that helpful for moderation since they'd need to manually review the thread to find out what the fuck the report is even about.
Also, schizo mass-backlinking will almost certainly get you hit with a warning or ban for offtopic/spamming(because spamming (you)'s... is a thing?)/whatever
>If your posts in that thread got reported by various people maybe that's what made the janny nuke them all?
The thing is if you looked at the posts I made that were deleted only one of them was actually 'questionable' enough to also be deleted. The "delete all" button is intended? for people like, well, the BLACKED spammer who floods a thread or for really notorious shitposters that do a lot of schizo shit.
and I don't think they, as a whole, have an agenda or anything. but there is probably one that has some weird obsession going on.

I have a lot of doubt on it being anti-ai driven.
It's just a high activity thread on a board no one wants anything to do with because, well, it's just porn. And normally the only thing anyone should have to care about on a board for porn is standard shit like people posting csam(which doubles the aversion of anyone wanting to actually handle the board). But being a high activity thread it attracts the actual schizo's that shitpost endlessly on vg.
Either way, things are fairly calm for the moment outside of the standard console war baitposting shit. Though I'm guessing things will go a... direction when the gook model gets leaked or released.

Yeah, which is kind of my point.
And those schizos are absolutely the type that would waste their time trying to get into being a janny purely to enhance their shitposting through whatever amount of 'power' they get.
though it could still be some assmad /ic/ loser. supposedly they're home to another really special breed of schizo and they like to single people out.
Either way, at the end of the day the "who" "what" and "why" is all pretty irrelevant. All that really matters is trying to find ways to circumvent/stem the shit where possible. Which, seemingly, going onto IRC and bitching in the open channel may have an amount of effectiveness if enough noise gets made.

They will be sending you to https://4chan.org/feedback over and over until they're bored of typing their usual excuses and ban you (on IRC) instead of doing something. And that IRC is about requesting unbans and le funny chatting anyway.
Replies: >>474

I would assume going to IRC to beg for an unabn would just extend the one you were given.
And note, I'm not talking about trying to actually "solve" this weird issue. I'm talking more about just popping into IRC, giving a "hey can a mod handle someone someone spamming in <thread url>? if you have eyes and actually look it should be obvious, thanks" and then hitting the X button on the client and fucking off while refusing to elaborate.
Posting blatant and obvious issues in an open channel makes it harder for things to be ignored.

I think they will unban you if the ban you're under is not yours for example or similar but there's also a huge chance of them turning into 4chan pass shills
>I'm talking more about just popping into IRC, giving a "hey can a mod handle someone someone spamming in <thread url>? if you have eyes and actually look it should be obvious, thanks" and then hitting the X button on the client and fucking off while refusing to elaborate.
There's already a schizo who assumed some discordtroons raided his beloved IRC just because multiple people complained about the shitposter at the same time. I'm expecting that place is not popular enough for randos to just walk in and drop some complaints trying to keep the cool at the same time.

I only played with it for a bit while the huggingface demo was up and didn't think to actually save all the testing I did but it's really fucking competent. Though it has some real bad issue with forcing multiple views and also weird angles at the moment.
I also wouldn't count on any of the inherent artist knowledge. That part is pretty much a wash and pure fucking cope for the moment(though it should improve on later revisions, assuming any get released). But unlike arti you don't have to prompt in weird schizophrenic ways to get it to actually do things.
Basically, it's actually a valid alternative to pony. Especially since it has pretty tangible character knowledge - once it's released I'd fully expect a lot of people to actually use it, unlike the other trash finetunes.
Should be noted though that all of image related are lowres with having to try and wrangle the (erratic) innate artist knowledge of the model and also had a forced NSFW in the negative prompt. Once it actually releases I'd expect outputs to be a fair bit more refined.

for reference, you can prompt it literally identically to pony, just with replacing the score tags with the dumb quality tags that it uses(the default list it includes is "masterpiece, best quality, very aesthetic, absurdres").
this alone makes it more approachable than any other alternative model so far. Also again, didn't really test it too much but it seemed pretty receptive/fine with limited boomer prompts to try and guide direction with reinforcement tags added.
the more important part though is that this is all a fairly early-in-training model(from may or something). so assuming we get anything further it'll only improve from here.

well that's certainly interesting.
I wonder if that was my fault since I, against better judgement, submitted a mod feedback asking for them to review moderation activity on /h/ and specifically backlinked a catalog search for hdg. Though it was also right after the thread went full schizo after getting slid into page 11(this shit is still hilarious to me).

>>506
I think the big issue with the gook model right now is it's just that it's an early epoch. It's got a lot of incomplete and inconsistent tag inference built up to where some tags have excessive bleed and it can't even do anything 100% stylistically coherent across seeds, so any network you try and foist upon it to guide/control it just runs the risk of not being able to make heads or tails of things.
That said, if you wanted to do a full finetune, this is a really great model to start with. Like, it's SSS+ grade for it. It's just small datasets for artists that it doesn't know that are really wishy washy on if it'll learn it or not. For as shit as pony was for training, I could get it to do some real crazy shit.
Though, if the model DOES know the artist but it's not quite there yet? Make sure you tag the actual recognized artist tag in captions and a lora can take it the rest of the mile real easily. And it shouldn't be super difficult to do a good range of multiple artist all in the same lora.
There's also a lot of stupid shit I need to try but there may or may not still be things that need the design doc to really figure out.

I'm also a clean house enjoyer, so a 6.4m finetune (e6 purged human cunny - so I emergency backed it all up ahead of time) will be built from the original checkpoint.

Experiments are going well if not having silly bugs like having the wrong aspect ratio.

eyes can be a bit messy but does a pretty good job otherwise. I've been adding "muji \(uimss\), tsukumizu yuu" as artist calls and it seems to improve it a little. It can work fine on its own, though.
Style training on the model is still pretty nebulous at the moment, though.

if you're talking about the one posted to hdg, that shit is fried to fuck. Not that I have one worth uploading at the moment, but that one in particular is fried really bad.
And a lora in general should help stabilize regardless. A big issue is that the model is a bit unfocused, so forcing a unet on top of it that is very much individual subject focused is going to reign it in a lot.

Generally speaking though, even in its current state, gooknai actually completely obsoletes pony as far as I care. Which is kind of fucked up. It just does so much shit that pony cannot do, even when you hold a gun to its head. and I'm not sure I've found anything that pony *can* do that it can't. It also has so much more expressiveness and bodytype options. The only real detriment so far is that pony was significantly easier to train style lora's on.

oh boy. since I'm still banned I may as well post lora shit here.
as said previously, so far this model kind of really sucks for training. There's a few kind of dumb ways to go about things but it's definitely not as malleable as pony is. Also, as a secondary effect of that, I don't actually seem to be getting that huge of a benefit out of GLORA on this model. At least, not for the current method I'm choosing to train things, so I went back to oldschool 32dim locon(arguably I might be able to get dims even lower without much degradation but I didn't test that so it can't be helped).
All that said, here's my current working illustrious directory https://www.mediafire.com/folder/e9bd63vj786sf
All subdirectories have a preview grid in it. If it's an x/y grid it means that you need to tag the artist to activate it.
Yes, this sounds stupid and like a bit of a regression. And to a degree it kind of is but it also really isn't. The model _knows_ these artists. The knowledge it has is really incomplete but it absolutely knows them; so these are basically just micro-finetunes targeting that very specific artist and giving it a kick in the pants. Also these are all unet only trains with the TE disabled.

current artists done through this method so far
yamamoto souichirou
tsukumizu yuu
tianliang duohe fangdongye
kokaki mumose
kiato
ciloranko

I've also got a clean .toml for ezscripts for the current config I'm rolling with in there if anyone wants that. Though this is all still very v1 and I'm just running with "safe" settings that don't seem like they'll completely fry out. Also designed for 12GB vram - though I think it fits in around 10GB usage or so. Step outputs to check for are probably going to be 154 and 132(though I'd also check 165 and 143).

Also further disclaimer that I honestly haven't tested these super thoroughly. Please to the understanding, I literally just ran a batch of 6 of them overnight. From what I can tell there might still be a few kinks to work out but that's kind of to be expected - it hasn't even been a week yet.

Honestly this shit has been bothering me for weird reasons. 1.5 was a garbage fire and I didn't really toil on training shit on it all that much but with pony the artifacting was surprisingly easy to solve just by using a lora, especially if it had pyramidal noise attached. And I could get it to generate actual white backgrounds and shit. Super easy. But no matter what I fucking do with this model it just doesn't care. Color blocks for skin tones is usually mostly fine but if it gets too close to white or black it gets so goddamn splotchy.
Really makes me wonder why the fuck pony could be "fixed" but not illustrious. Maybe pony was so absurdly fried that some layers were just nonfunctional/barely functional and a lora would just supplant those layers and work perfectly fine? it's a fucking mystery. Though, pony did still have a lot of splotchiness issues despite that. Gradients especially were fucked and would band horribly.

probably a weird question but I'm looking at HF and wondering, I could just privately store all of my gens there no problem, right? especially if it's a private dataset and I upload it archived with a password? are there any potential downsides to storing it there compared to mega for example?

I'm in the process of sorting and cleaning up my image folders and there's around 50 gigabytes of pngs and psds with unfinished shit. I might not necessarily need every single one of those but going through all of them and deleting them one by one is too tedious and aside from not wanting to store 50 gigs of hentai on my machine I want to have a backup

Niggers/shitskins are horrible. You help them in their own countries - they get dependent on your gibs and start multiplying like a plague. You invite them in your own country - your whole country gets turned into a shithole.
Trannies are so mentally weak they can't even accept reality and have to live in fantasy land. It's mental illness and must be called out for what it is.

I agree with most of the other stuff but I really wouldn't call 4chan left-leaning. It was anti-establishment and closer to libertarian, than to anything that you could call "left" nowadays.
And even though I also think this niggerniggernigger stormfront crap is cringe and should be left to /b/ and /pol/, implementing those worngspeak filters is even worse.

Libertarianism in practice is a lot more toward the left than people would want to let you think it is(and neo dems are a lot further right than they pretend to be). Also remember that left=!""radical left"". Though I'd agree it's absolutely predominately anti-establishment. The only reason trump even caught on on 4chan was because 1. "man this would be fucking hilarious" and 2. it's fits into an accelerationist political approach where the goal is to burn shit to the ground(can't get more anti-establishment than that).
>implementing those worngspeak filters is even worse.
While I kind of agree that in a perfect world they'd just up moderation to compensate instead, I'm also kind of with >>559 in that people who spam that shit in their posts aren't posting anything really worth reading(though this may be because I can't imagine wanting to be in a thread where such posts would be "on topic").
It also seems like an extremely zoomer tier skill issue problem. Just think of new and more clever ways to be racist lmao. Or go back and rediscover old and weird slurs and start using those. It's not like the 4chinz lexicon has been static for 20 years.
That said, I should also probably point out that I have, at no point in time, been under the guise that I have or have ever expected to have "free speech" on the internet. And if anything, hiroshimoot has honestly probably been too hands off.
>And if anything, hiroshimoot has honestly probably been too hands off.

you don't have to use slurs to derail a thread and make it unusable
in case of /hdg/ problem is constant spam about NAI, pony, lolicon, discord screenshots, d-k tech talk, aco baits or comfy, use of buzzwords is the least important factor

mods have been weird lately and the people who've been catching vacations have probably been a bit more careful to compensate.
and like the other anon said, vacations are seemingly what drive activity here.
have some gundams(and a gouf) to compensate.

>hdg thread took an extreme noticeable nosedive in general post quality in the span of a few hours yesterday and is still in the shitter
>suddenly it appears like the thread sliding(read: bumping older threads to bury threads at post bump limit) is back
hrm
HRM
this surely is not suspicious at all.
though the thread sliding isn't anywhere as overt as it was before. it's a bit slower and they're *attempting* to be more on topic than they were before when/where they can(though if you spend more time than it's worth trying to look you'll find a few obvious low effort textposts).
also not sure if anyone else has noticed but there seemed to have also been a significant drop in post deletions/assumed bans for the past week, which I'm not entirely sure how to interpret.
Feels like the major proponent in all of this either caught a 1 week ban or maybe they were hit by helene and their power just turned back on.

it seems to come and go in waves at certain timeframes. we had a few days where it was actually pretty good but, of course, nothing lasts forever, etc.
cathag(or at least someone doing a pretty good impression of them) seems to be having a massive meltdown for whatever reason(though I guess they were in a perpetual state of that anyway) and then there's some retarded tourist that I don't even know how the fuck they found the thread trying to shill their shiny as fuck garbage for whatever reason.
the moderation shift is real fucking weird though and I'm not quite sure what to make of it. Not complaining(though reisen being removed is weird), just real pensive about it.

I mean, I get the meme of "lol sfw 4chan" and it being a fucking joke but blue boards are blue for a reason and it's specifically to make it so that not every thread devolves into porn and you can actually maintain a line of topic. And you have to enforce it or the rules have no real teeth.
"Official art" gets a pass on this shit because it's being released and passing marketing thresholds or whatever bullshit you want to describe it as. fanart stuff doesn't go through any of that at all
tbh, I wouldn't recommend posting anything with overt, plain pantsu on a blue board, much less something with cameltoe.
Replies: >>597
>>595
>not every thread devolves into porn and you can actually maintain a line of topic
do you think every board is /b/ or something? most red boards didn't turn into porn dumps. gif and b are the only boards that degenerated due to porn I think
Replies: >>598
>>597
can you really say with a straight face that /vg/, if it were a red board, wouldn't devolve into an unusable mess?
keep in mind that it's already barely usable as a blue board.
either way, it's not really about it *always* happening without the blue board distinction, it's about preventing any possibility of it happening, ever. And porn/lewd shit usually doesn't actually give or contribute much to actual discussion, so there isn't much point in condoning letting it through.

and tangentially related; the TE on .75 is absolutely fried. The unet might also be a bit singed but the TE is definitely showing some bad symptoms and it's starting to fry colors as a result.
which is kind of a shame since it does do some things a lot better than .5 - some artists actually started working, a number of them work better and some lower occurrence style impacting tags can do a good bit more(an example is the 'low poly' tag).
also pretty sure that anyone bitching about it being something to do with the e621 dataset is just being an old man shaking their fist at the sky over fucking nothing. Shit's fried and that's really kind of just the extent of it.

it's fucking reisen. And with the pose/position the breasts are pretty strongly pushing to C cup territory.
And I'm really not seeing it being "chibi" at all. All the head mass is in the hair - the head is a "bit" larger than natural proportions but it's weebshit and pretty much on mark for that. See image related for what would actually be chibi.
And even if you consider it "chibi" I have no idea how the fuck that could relate at all to "b-b-but it's underaged!" It doesn't look like a child and it's an extremely well established character.
Also take a look at the actual thread as a whole. Shitposting is going completely unstopped, there are significantly more clear examples of borderline "loli" shit being posted and not deleted.
I feel like a massive fag for saying it but it just feels real blatantly obvious that there's a toolbag of a janny facilitating shitposting and also intentionally targeting me at this point for whatever reason and getting by on none of their moderation being reviewed.

No, I find it a lot harder to believe it's a functional failing for the report system and an unwitting, completely unrelated janitor going "uh yeah sure that's lolicon!" It happens too consistently to really be complete coincidence.
Also I'd be willing to put $5 on the retard who replied to me with
>isn't that a kid
being the actual janny in question. They did something similar on /e/ ages ago(but for "/aco/" :^) ) after deleting a post and then banning me for being off-topic when I called them a retard for it.
Ultimately it's not really a big deal it's just really annoying and a bit of a really weird joke to get banned for reisen. The thread is also probably going to be more or less unusable for the next three days just like it was after .75 got released(and hey I got banned right away then, too).
Replies: >>614

maybe that's true or maybe you see faces in random patterns
that's a child, lolicon goes to /b/, chuddies etc. are just notorious running jokes/ memes, repeted definitively by more then one person
besides not every (you) about it is an attack, for example when you posted Shinobu i commented "daring today but can't tell if that's loli or not", well it was just a joke because i found it funny that you posted one of the most staple loli characters considering your constant bans

>isn't that hyper
posting. But nothing ever comes of that because, lol, jannies are retarded and doesn't actually understand what does and does not belong in /h/. But
>isn't that a kid
reads a lot more as a straight report announcement. The other replies in chain are what makes it read like it's a janny that gets high on their own jenkem, tbh.
>or maybe you see faces in random patterns
hence why I'd only put $5 on it. It's either a shitposting trying to make a show of shit or one of the shitposting cohort.

however;

Is pretty much where I'm leaning(assuming you meant the second to being the version used for sanae/kurisu). Texturing on clothes from it, especially for darker tones, is just really strong.
It also works pretty well with arako o type paint patterning, which is nice.
